Meet Maryrose — A Calm Space for Your Story to Unfold

As an integrative psychotherapist, I offer a warm, grounded space where you can gently explore your experiences, connect with yourself, and begin to heal — at your own pace.

About us

About Maryrose Maguire

You deserve a space where you can be heard — gently, honestly, and without pressure to be anything other than yourself.

I believe therapy doesn’t have to be clinical or cold. At its heart, it’s a relationship — one that helps you understand your inner world with compassion and clarity. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, feeling stuck in relationships, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, therapy can offer a kind of healing that’s both practical and deeply human.

My Approach

I work integratively, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels right for you. I see each person as unique — with their own rhythms, relational history, and ways of making sense of the world.

I often integrate:

* Attachment theory to understand how early relationships shape our patterns today
* Humanistic and relational approaches that centre safety, empathy, and connection
* Psychodynamic insight to explore what’s been carried unconsciously
* Practical tools for managing anxiety, boundaries, emotional overwhelm, and self-doubt
Above all, I aim to create a space that’s warm, grounded, and attuned to your pace.

Who I Work With

I support individuals and couples navigating:
* Anxiety, low mood, or inner criticism
* Relationship challenges and communication issues
* Digital-era dating and disconnection
* Family dynamics, attachment wounds, or emotional burnout
* Life transitions, identity shifts, or the quiet ache of not feeling “yourself”
Whether you’re in crisis or simply curious about your inner world, you’re welcome here.

Qualifications & Background

* BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy – Dublin Business School
* Certificate in Psychology – Trinity College Dublin
* Pre-Accredited Member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP)
I also regularly engage in professional development to deepen my work — especially around attachment, relational trauma, and how digital life impacts connection and communication.

Why I Created The Connection Space

Therapy is powerful, but not everyone is ready — or able — to step straight into one-to-one work. I wanted to create a space that could hold multiple ways of healing: therapy, self-reflection, learning, community, and eventually, more.
Whether you begin with therapy, explore a course like Wired for Connection, or just follow along quietly — this space is here for you.
We all long for connection. Sometimes we just need the right space to explore what that actually means for us.
If you’re curious, you’re welcome.
If you’re overwhelmed, you’re welcome.
If you’re ready to begin — even just a little — you’re welcome.
